Marriage & Relationship Counseling in Orlando
& Across Florida

Relationships can be some of the most meaningful parts of our lives, but also some of the most challenging. If you’re feeling stuck in patterns, struggling to communicate, or noticing growing distance or tension, you’re not alone. Whether you’re coming in as a couple or on your own, therapy can help you better understand what’s happening and begin to move toward a more connected and secure relationship. Relationship problems can include: feeling stuck in the same arguments or patterns, difficulty communicating or feeling misunderstood, emotional distance or lack of connection, trust issues or rebuilding after hurt, navigating life transitions together, uncertainty about the future of the relationship, infidelity, thoughts of divorce/separation, and more.

How we Help

In therapy, we help you better understand the patterns in your relationship and what may be driving them. Together, we’ll work on improving communication, increasing emotional awareness, and developing healthier ways of relating to one another. Our therapists use approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, and other evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique situation.

Because we’re a group practice, we’ll help match you with a therapist on our team who has experience with relationship concerns and fits your preferences, goals, and communication style—so you don’t have to figure that out on your own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do we need to come in as a couple, or can I come alone?

A:  You’re welcome to come in as a couple or individually. Some people start on their own to gain clarity and work on their role in the relationship, while others attend together. We can help you decide what feels like the best fit.

Q: Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?

A: We offer both, and hybrid options! We do in person sessions in Orlando, Florida, and virtual sessions across all of Florida.

Q: What if my partner isn’t sure about therapy?

A: It’s very common for one partner to feel more ready than the other. You can still begin therapy individually, and we can help you navigate how to approach the situation and support your relationship from your side.

Q: How do I know if relationship counseling can help us?

A: If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or repeating the same patterns, therapy can help you better understand what’s happening and create new ways of relating. You don’t have to wait until things feel severe to seek support.

Q: How do I choose the right therapist for relationship counseling?

A: Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process, and it’s okay if you’re not sure where to start. A good fit often comes down to feeling comfortable, understood, and supported, as well as working with someone who has experience with what you’re going through. Because we’re a group practice, we’ll help match you with a therapist on our team who aligns with your needs, preferences, and goals—so you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
